Are your electricians fully qualified?

Yes. All work is carried out exclusively by a fully qualified, Gold Card electricians. We do not use unsupervised apprentices or unqualified labour. All our electricians are DBS checked. Every installation is completed to the highest professional standards and in full compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)

 

Are you fully insured?

Yes. Regal Electrical is fully insured, giving our clients complete peace of mind while work is being carried out in their home or premises. We carry £5,000,000 Public Liability and £1,000,000 Professional Indemnity insurance.

 

Will I receive certification for the work?

At Regal electrical we will always issue the appropriate electrical certification, including Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC), Minor Works Certificates, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR). All certificates are provided digitally for your convenience and records and on average within 24 hours of completion of your job.

 

Do you undertake small electrical works?

We take on all work, no matter how small, but we also need to cover the overheads and operational costs involved in running a professional, fully insured electrical service. To ensure every job receives the same level of care and attention, we apply a minimum charge of £70, which covers, administration, travel and the first hour of labour. This allows us to deliver a consistent, high‑quality service on every visit.

 

Do you offer emergency call-outs?

Yes. We offer emergency call-outs for urgent electrical faults, subject to availability. Please contact us directly on 01273 044749 to discuss your requirements.

 

How do you price your work?

At Regal Electrical, we believe pricing should be simple, transparent, and fair so you always know exactly what you’re paying for. We choose not to work on day rates because they rarely provide clarity or trust for the customer. Instead, we offer fixed pricing for the majority of our work. This approach gives you:

  • A clear, upfront cost
  • No open‑ended labour charges
  • No uncertainty
  • A simple, transparent price you can rely on.

Do you remove waste after the job is completed?

Yes — all waste generated by our work is removed and handled responsibly. As a licensed waste carrier (CBDL563949), we ensure materials are sorted, recycled, and repurposed wherever possible, reducing the amount sent to landfill. This includes packaging, cable offcuts, old fittings, and any components we replace. Please note: items not supplied by us, such as ovens, hobs, or other large appliances, must be disposed of separately by the client or supplier.

Is your work guaranteed?

Yes. All workmanship is fully guaranteed for 36 months, with manufacturer warranties applying to all materials supplied. Our reputation is built on quality, reliability, and trust.
